I hold a 4.99 out of 5 rating from 282 verified reviews on RankMyAgent, as of October 2026. A number that high deserves a question: who wrote those reviews, and what did they say? I went through every review card on my profile. Here is what I found.
Why these reviews carry weight
Anyone can post a star rating. RankMyAgent says its reviews are “based on firm/close transactions and third-party verified by RankMyAgent prior to being posted online.” That means each one comes from a person whose home actually sold or whose purchase actually closed.
It also explains the awards. RankMyAgent named me to its Top 100 Agents in Canada for 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024, and to Best of Brampton for 2021, 2022 and 2023. Both awards rest on verified client reviews, not on sales volume. You can read the list on my recognition page.
One caution about the number itself. 282 counts reviews, not clients. I have served thousands of clients over a career that began in 2003, and most clients never write a review. The 282 are the ones who did.
Who wrote them
Of the 279 review cards that show a transaction type, 204 are from sellers. Another 42 are from buyers, 30 from people who bought and sold, and 3 from renters. Add the sellers to the buy-and-sell clients and 234 of 279, or 84 per cent, involved selling a home.
That split matches the work I like best. A seller carries the most risk and the most history. You raised your children in the house, or you inherited it, or you outgrew it. You want a price you can trust and a person who will say the hard thing before you hear it from a buyer.
Where they live
254 of the 279 reviews, 91 per cent, name Brampton. Northwest Brampton appears 26 times, Mount Pleasant 12 and Fletcher’s Meadow 10. The rest name Mississauga, Caledon, Toronto and other Ontario towns.
I work where I know the streets. That is why I can tell you which comparable sales near your home matter and which do not.
What clients say
I will not tally adjectives from the cards, because previews cut off mid-sentence. I will quote reviews word for word instead. Each is from a verified client on RankMyAgent.
On honesty, a home seller wrote in October 2026: “There were no gimmicks and no sales tactics, just honest advice, even when it wasn’t what we wanted to hear.” In 2022, another wrote that from the first meeting to closing, I was “upfront, honest, accurate and realistic about the current market scenario.”
On proof, a seller wrote in 2024: “He came prepared with houses similar in size that have sold recently or were still in the market. He walked us through the entire process…” That is my rule in action: your price comes from recent sales near you, not from hope.
On pressure, a buyer wrote in February 2026: “At no point did we feel pressured or rushed into making a decision.” A seller in 2022 wrote: “He did not use any pressure tactics…”
On patience, first-time sellers wrote in April 2026: “he took the time to answer each one clearly and thoroughly.”
Honest advice. Proof. No pressure. Time for your questions. Four things, and none of them costs a cent to offer.
What this means when you list
Picture the first meeting at your kitchen table. I bring recent sales from near your address. I tell you where your home stands against them, including the parts you may not want to hear. We agree on a plan and a price. Then you decide, on your own timeline.
That is how I work at RE/MAX Gold Realty Inc., Brokerage. You can confirm my registration as a Broker, number 4736013, on the RECO public register, and read every review yourself on my RankMyAgent profile. The full set of my client reviews and awards is on this site.
A friendly call is a start. Evidence is better: ask any agent for verified reviews, and read the ones that mention price.
If you are thinking about selling, start with one conversation. I will bring the comparable sales.
